My apologies for not posting about it earlier, or even as it happened, as one of the ballot counters, but the elections for FSA’s E-Board were earlier this week (you can find a quick run-down of all the positions and whatnot here), with speeches and questionnaires and political conspiracy, and not too long after, the results were in. One thing we were happy to notice were all the new faces - about half are currently freshmen (!) - and they’ll all be bringing something new to the club as its leaders for the following year.
Very gladly, I present to you NJIT FSA E-Board 2013-2014:
External President: Jerhard Evangelista
Internal President: Giancarlo Protacio
Secretary: Gerilynn Protacio
Treasurer: Jarryl Tan
External PR: Alex Ng
Internal PR: Peter Salas
Historian Leader: Wilbur Vale
DSDT Captain: Jay Bisda
Cultural Head: Robert Canuel Jr.
Kevin Lapus: Mark Usigan
Mascot: Roger Palisoc
Here’s a friendly reminder to make any necessary meetings with your respective advisor so that any holds or what-have-you will be removed before April 16th, so that you’ll be all nice, ready and prepared to panic by the time registration comes around!
Awesome Zoolander reference in the title aside, the schedule builder here is a very nifty schedule builder (don’t confuse it for actual registration, though) adjusted for the up-and-coming semester’s course list to put together the ideal schedule you’re looking for.
Here’s FSA’s yearly club photo, taken just this week by Wilbur! Didn’t make it for this one? No worries, this one is unofficial, as you can tell by Shirtless Roger.
The official one will be taken this coming Wednesday after the meeting, so be sure to come out!
In addition, assuming you’ve been updated by email or our facebook group, here’s a reminder that we’ve got elections coming up in two weeks on April 17th, and if you’re not clear just yet on some of the things our potential E-Board members will be doing, we have a list right here!
Due to some technical errors, however, not all of the performances are available in full. Our apologies. But I for one will be looking forward to watching the other recordings from other people, since there were so many fantastic performances on Sunday. I’m still giddy at everything and all the fun that everyone had, haha. Anyway, go on and watch!

Battle of the Barrios is back for its 12th installment cosponsored by GMA Pinoy TV!
Battle of the Barrios is a competition where schools from all over District Three come and show off their creativity in a skit that includes a modern and cultural dance portion.
This year, we have invited a wonderful judging panel!
The judges are:

Tickets will be $8 Presale and $10 at the Door.
Presale money is due March 6. Anyone who has not paid by then must pay full price at the door. Your name will not be saved on any presale list.
Opportunities to pay for tickets are available at the D3 General Body Meeting on February 15, as well as any RAPS General Body Meeting held every Wednesday at 9 PM in BCC-174.
We encourage everyone to buy their tickets in advance because there is a limited capacity, and tickets are likely to sell out.
Parking for the event is available in Lots 70, 79, 79A, and the Douglass Deck. Please ensure that you park in one of these designated lots. A link to the campus map can be found at http://parktran.rutgers.edu/PDF/0250%20Campus%20Map0725.pdf

Hey guys, we’ve been keeping pretty top secret about it but you’ll be seeing us at this year’s Battle of the Barrios!
If you’re still on campus and wanna get presale, E-Board is gonna be taking pre-sale between today and tomorrow.
[Ms. PI 2013] Awards Ceremony
And here is our last video, with the rankings of the top six, as determined in part by the Judges’ Q&A, being announced. Congratulations to Trisha, for being crowned Ms. PI, and congrats to Malorie for getting 4th runner up - we’re so proud of you! Congrats to all the other girls who placed, and those who participated as well!
[Ms. PI 2013] Announcement of the Top Six, Q&A
Probably the longest video we’ve got thus far, this is also probably one of the most nerve-wracking moments of the night, as the top six, which - spoiler - includes NJIT FSA’s very own Malorie, are not only chosen, but quizzed by the judges on a variety of topics relevant to Filipino culture.
[Ms. PI 2013] Malorie’s Talent - Speed Painting
For all y’all who missed out last night, check out Malorie’s talent! Awesome, right? More videos from Ms. PI are available on our youtube channel!
[Ms. PI 2013] Dresses
Following the introduction are the dresses, and the ladies showing how well they can rock ‘em on the catwalk.
[Ms. PI 2013] Introduction
The first of the videos I’ll be posting here, this is the introduction of the lovely ladies of D3 participating in Ms. PI.
